Art Plunkett (Arthur Scott Plunkett) was born on March 8, 1959 in Chicago, Illinois. After going to high school at Arlington (Arlington Heights, IL) and Skyline (Salt Lake City, UT), Plunkett attended the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. Plunkett made his professional debut in the NFL in 1981 with the St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the St. Louis Cardinals and New England Patriots over the course of his 6 year career.
