Art Murakowski (Arthur R. Murakowski) was born on March 15, 1925 in East Chicago, Indiana. After going to high school at Washington (East Chicago, IN), Murakowski attended Northwestern University. Murakowski made his professional debut in the NFL in 1951 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 1 year career.
