Art Mccaffray (Arthur J. McCaffray) was born on December 26, 1921 in Seattle, Washington. After going to high school at Seattle Prep (Seattle, WA), Mccaffray attended Santa Clara University and the University of Pacific. Mccaffray made his professional debut in the NFL in 1946 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 1 year career.
