Art May (Arthur Lee May) was born on November 16, 1948 in Bessemer, Alabama. After going to high school at Abrams (Bessemer, AL), May attended Tuskegee University. May made his professional debut in the NFL in 1971 with the New England Patriots. He played for the New England Patriots for his entire 1 year career.
