Art Malone (Arthur Lee Malone) was born on March 20, 1948 in Tyler, Texas. After going to high school at Santa Cruz Valley (Eloy, AZ), Malone attended Arizona State University. Malone made his professional debut in the NFL in 1970 with the Atlanta Falcons. He played for the Atlanta Falcons and Philadelphia Eagles over the course of his 7 year career.

Most people believe that 1972 was Art Malone's best year, as he ran for 798 yards, ran in 8 TDs, hauled in 50 receptions and had 585 receiving yards.
