Born on May 11, 1871 in Louisville, Kentucky, Art Herman (Arthur Herman) played for the Louisville Colonels for his entire 2 year career. Herman broke into the bigs on June 29, 1896 with the Louisville Colonels, and put up a 5.63 ERA in 94.1 innings pitched in 1896, his rookie year.
