Art Harms (Arthur Gustav Harms) was born on June 25, 1902 in New York, New York. After going to high school at Flushing (Queens, NY), Harms attended The University of Vermont. Harms made his professional debut in the NFL in 1925 with the Frankford Yellow Jackets. He played for the New York Giants and Frankford Yellow Jackets over the course of his 3 year career.
