Art Haley (Arthur Reed Haley) was born on October 7, 1895 in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Cuyahoga Falls (OH), Haley attended the University of Akron. Haley made his professional debut in the APFA in 1921 with the Dayton Triangles. He played in the APFA for 1 year, playing for the Dayton Triangles the entire time. Haley also played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Akron Pros the entire time.
