Art Gob (Arthur Jerome Gob) was born on November 7, 1937 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Baldwin (PA), Gob attended the University of Pittsburgh. Gob made his professional debut in the NFL in 1959 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 3 year career.
