Art Faircloth (Arthur Terman Faircloth) was born on July 8, 1921 in Richmond, Virginia. After going to high school at Anacostia (Washington, DC), Faircloth attended Guilford College and North Carolina State University. Faircloth made his professional debut in the NFL in 1947 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1947 was Art Faircloth's best year.
