Art Devlin (Arthur McArthur Devlin) was born on October 16, 1879 in Washington, D.C.. He made his Major League debut on April 14, 1904 for the New York Giants. In 1904, his rookie year, he hit .281 with 1 home run and 66 RBI. Devlin played for the New York Giants and Boston Braves over the course of his 10 year career.

Most people believe that Art Devlin's best season was 1906, when he stole 54 bases, hit for a .299 average and knocked in 65 runs.
