Born on January 14, 1894 in Cleveland, Ohio, Art Decatur (Arthur Rue Decatur) played for the Brooklyn Robins and Philadelphia Phillies over the course of his 6 year career. Decatur broke into the bigs on April 15, 1922 with the Brooklyn Robins, and put up a 2.77 ERA in 87.2 innings pitched in 1922, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Art Decatur's best season was 1924, when he posted a 4.13 ERA and won 10 games.
