Art DeCarlo (Arthur Anthony DeCarlo, Jr.) was born on March 23, 1931 in Youngstown, Ohio. After going to high school at East (Youngstown, OH), DeCarlo attended the University of Georgia. DeCarlo made his professional debut in the NFL in 1953 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Baltimore Colts, Washington Redskins and Pittsburgh Steelers over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that 1953 was Art DeCarlo's best year, as he picked off 5 passes.
