Art Brandau (Arthur Albert Brandau) was born on June 23, 1922 in Baltimore, Maryland. After going to high school at City College (Baltimore, MD), Brandau attended the University of Tennessee. Brandau made his professional debut in the NFL in 1945 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 2 year career.
