Art Braman (Arthur Henry Braman) was born on August 4, 1897 in Torrington, Connecticut. After going to high school at Phillips Exeter Academy (Exeter, NH), Braman attended Yale University. Braman made his professional debut in the NFL in 1922 with the Racine Legion. He played for the Racine Legion for his entire 2 year career.
