Art Anderson (Arthur Anthony Anderson) was born on October 9, 1937 in Wahpeton, North Dakota. After going to high school at Wahpeton (ND), Anderson attended the University of Idaho. Anderson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1961 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears and Pittsburgh Steelers over the course of his 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1963 was Art Anderson's best year.
