Born on October 9, 1892 in North Creek, New York, Arnie Stone (Edwin Arnold Stone) played for the Pittsburgh Pirates for his entire 2 year career. Stone broke into the bigs on July 30, 1923 with the Pittsburgh Pirates, and put up a 2.95 ERA in 64 innings pitched in 1924, his rookie year.
