Army Announces Investigation Into Tillman Death

The Army has announced that there will be a formal criminal investigation into the death of soldier and former NFL defensive back Pat Tillman. Tillman was killed in Afghanistan by friendly fire, later the shooting was concluded to be an accidental shooting. Tillman joined the Army after the September 11th attacks, despite having a multi-million dollar contract with the Arizona Cardinals.
