Armin Mahrt (Armin Richard Mahrt) was born on November 9, 1897 in Dayton, Ohio. Mahrt attended the University of Dayton and West Virginia University. Mahrt made his professional debut in the NFL in 1924 with the Dayton Triangles. He played for the Dayton Triangles and Pottsville Maroons over the course of his 3 year career.
