Not to rant...but to help the GM
I'm going to keep this short and sweet. I only bring this up due to comments I have had from my friends in Chicago. Basically the said the stuff is good, but can be a little hard to read. OK, they're babies when it comes to this stuff, but I was wondering how many more people out the felt the same way.
In the ever growing of our members here at the GM I have a few things I would like to point out. There have been a good # of people who have been coming on here and writing articles that need some work.
For your benefit:
Please break up your paragraphs to make it easier to read. There have been some fantastic pieces on here that have been unread only because they are hard to read. Simply place < br> without the space before the b at the end of a paragraph to space out your article.
The use of Bullets
- Place an asterisk before a sentence
- And two to bring in for a topic point.

Spelling and grammar…OK I’m not the best at this, a lot of times I am using a handheld to post stuff. Type first in your Word Processor to help with this.
Here is GM’s page to assist you in further editing: http://www.armchairgm.com/mwiki/index.php?title=Help:Editing
And for my main point.
Don’t copy paste from other sport pages unless you wrote it. If it is yours, let us know. Also do not just post a link on the page for us to read an article. Summarize it, give us your POV and source the information.
I don’t want this to sound petty, but this will make our site even better. The last thing people who do not belong as members want to see is a 80 line article without indentations and spacing.
Final note.
- By clicking the remember me box when you log in will keep you logged in for easier writing and editing. Unless you are not on a personal computer then don’t for privacy reasons. Here's where to find Fan Box info http://armchairgm.com/mwiki/index.php?title=Help:Fan_Boxes
I also realy like how we have users have weekly articles they put out, and think it would be great if more members had a print like that to do every week or so. I'm starting the Roast which you might have seen this weekend, where I take a team and discuss it with my friends and then write about who is going on the grill (who should be X'd from the team) http://www.armchairgm.com/mwiki/index.php?title=Late_Night_Roast_of_the_Cubs...Tylenol_please%21
Ufgators had a great point like always. Add bold to your text by adding three apostrophe's before and after the text you want bold faced. Check that page out I posted above, it's all there.
