2006:

Named Argos’ Most Outstanding Player by the Toronto chapter of the FRC…Named East Division All-Star for the second consecutive season…Named CFL All-Star for the first time in his career.

2005:

Named East Division All-Star for first time in his career…Was one of three Argos to generate over 1000 yards receiving in the season...2005 Playoffs:Started at receiver in East Championship versus Montreal.

San Francisco 49ers

Released by San Francisco following training camp...signed as a free agent with Toronto on September 3...Started in Weeks 12-19 as SB and kick returner...2004 Playoffs started at SB and played special teams, recording 5 catches for 48 yards (LG 18) and 1 TD from Damon Allen, also tallied 5 punt returns for 18 yards (LG 10) vs Hamilton in East Semi-Final...Started at SB, the star of the game became Allen's go-to man, led all receivers with 12 passes for 101 yards and returned a kickoff 97 yards in the first quarter for a touchdown in East Championship vs the Alouettes...Grey Cup Championship caught 5 passes for 79 yards (LG 25), returned 2 punts 17 yards (LG 11) and had 2 kickoff returns for 30 yards (LG 18) in win vs BC.

Played for Minnesota in 1998 and 1999...1999 played in 11 games, team finished season 8-3 and lost in the Sun Bowl to Oregon where he caught a 38-yard touchdown pass...Attended Hutchinson Community College prior to attending Minnesota where he was a 1,000 yard rusher in his freshman season and was named a First-Team All-American. In his sophomore season he ran for 997 yards and 10 TDs and was named Second Team All-American.

Cousin of NFL Pro Bowl receiver Isaac Bruce, and Lou Barnes ...Father Arland Bruce Jr. played semi-pro with the Kansas City Steers...Arland attended Olathe North High School in Olathe, Kansas. Named BlueChip Illustrated Top-100 and named state Player of the Year when he ran for 1,696 yards as a senior. He recorded more than 3,000 yards rushing and 50 TDs in his high school career.
