Some may remember my article at the beginning of the season that claimed the Arkansas Razorbacks were capable of defeating the USC Trojans in College Football.
After that article USC defeated the Razorbacks easily.
Key information regarding that game is number one neither of Arkansas' primary Quarterbacks played (one being injured, the other was an untested Freshman), and secondly McFadden played very limited due to recent pins being inserted into his foot after busting it up in a bar fight.
Suddenly, the Hogs have won 9 in a row, dominate the SEC, McFadden is being mentioned in the same sentence as the Heisman, and they are now ranked number 7 in the BCS.
And as always, they are underrated.
But man oh man they would love to face USC again, and you never know, that may be possible.
The defense is sound with their swarming techniques and speed. The running game is beyond compare.
Nobody even noticed Arkansas until they beat the Auburn Tigers when the Tigers were number 2 in the nation. Word has it, to inspire the team, the night before the game Houston Nutt (the head coach) took the players to see the movie, "Facing the Giants". Whatever he did, Arkansas is now a contender.
USC would lose in a match-up with the Hogs now, and I think they are beginning to realize that.
