Are the Tigers done?

After falling 4.5 games behind Cleveland and 3 games out of the wildcard, the Tigers are looking for something to jumpstart their winning ways. It seems as if the Tigers are playing in quicksand and don't really have an answer right now. The starting pitching has been absolutely awful and the bats can't seem to get a runner in scoring position home to save their lives. If the Tigers can't beat KC in the final game of their series, then they are in trouble. Don't get me wrong...I am not writing off the Tigers and I haven't all year, but something needs to change. They really need to take the series in Oakland and get their heads straight for a big matchup with Seattle in the next week.
Here are a few things the Tigers need to turn this around:
--Pudge and the black hole (Brandon Inge) need to hit.
--Consistency out of the starters.
--They just need to find ways to win.
Yes, last year was probably a magical season for the Tigers, but they aren't as bad as they have been playing. The next week are very crucial to their playoff push and I am not ready to throw in the towel. Should be an interesting finish!
Andrew Miller was sent to A ball Thursday...hopefully he can get things in order and comeback as an impact player in September, but maybe as a lefty out of the bullpen.
Stay Tuned.
