Arda Bowser (Arda Crawford Bowser) was born on January 9, 1899 in Danville, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Ford City (PA), Bowser attended Bethany College and Bucknell University. Bowser made his professional debut in the NFL in 1922 with the Canton Bulldogs. He played for the Cleveland Indians and Canton Bulldogs over the course of his 2 year career.
