Archie Yelle (Archie Joseph Yelle) was born on June 11, 1892 in Saginaw, Michigan. He made his Major League debut on May 12, 1917 for the Detroit Tigers. In 1918, his rookie year, he hit .174 with 0 home runs and 7 RBI. Yelle played for the Detroit Tigers for his entire 3 year career.
