Archie Wilson (Archibald Clifton Wilson) was born on November 25, 1923 in Los Angeles, California. He made his Major League debut on September 18, 1951 for the New York Yankees. In 1952, his rookie year, he hit .228 with 0 home runs and 17 RBI. Wilson played for the New York Yankees, Washington Senators and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 2 year career.
