Archie Sutton (Archie Michael Sutton) was born on November 2, 1942 in New Orleans, Louisiana. After going to high school at Xavier Prep (New Orleans, LA), Sutton attended the University of Illinois. Sutton made his professional debut in the NFL in 1965 with the Minnesota Vikings. He played for the Minnesota Vikings for his entire 3 year career.
