Archie Golembeski (Anthony Edward Golembeski) was born on May 25, 1900 in Lyon Mountain, Kentucky. After going to high school at Classical (Worcester, MA), Golembeski attended Holy Cross College. Golembeski made his professional debut in the NFL in 1925 with the Providence Steam Roller. He played for the Providence Steam Roller for his entire 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1925 was Archie Golembeski's best year, as he ran back 2 fumbles for touchdowns.
