Born on October 20, 1903 in Maplewood, New Jersey, Archie Campbell (Archibald Stewart Campbell) played for the New York Yankees, Washington Senators and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 3 year career. Campbell broke into the bigs on April 21, 1928 with the New York Yankees, and put up a 5.43 ERA in 58 innings pitched in 1930, his rookie year.
