Aramis Ramirez (Aramis (Nin) Ramirez) was born on June 25, 1978 in Santo Domingo, Distrito Nacional (Dominican Republic). He made his Major League debut on May 26, 1998 for the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 1998, his rookie year, he hit .235 with 6 home runs and 24 RBI. Ramirez played for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 9 year career.

Most people believe that Aramis Ramirez's best season was 2006, when he slugged 38 home runs, hit for a .291 average and knocked in 119 runs.
