Apparently UGA thinks they are unstoppable

Either that, or Mark Bradley is the most ignorant homer to the east of Alaska. It becomes a normal occurance for me to truly dislike UGA fans across this soon to be forbidden land in Atlanta (you know, no rain at all, in seemingly ever). I’ve always been proud of my ability to be objective with the teams I root for. It’s generally a funny thing watching UGA fans get so caught up in the 2 loss act right now that they forgot the past 2 years, they weren’t even rooting for UGA. Not but 1 month ago you would struggle mightily to see those “G” flags flying on tops of cars and people wearing sweaters and shirts letting people know who they root for. And trust me, when you dislike UGA as much as I do, that ugly red sticks out like a sore thumb.
Beat Florida, beat Auburn, now UGA can beat USC, and LSU, and Florida again, and then Oregon all in consecutive weeks. That seems to be the talk in Bandwagonsville, Ga, better known as Athens to me. Mark Bradley is already throwing Stafford and Moreno in the books as two of the best that ever played the game at UGA. Stafford was an average QB at best until the arrival of Moreno. Moreno isn’t getting his yards because teams fear Stafford, anyone thinking otherwise needs to have their head checked out, this is a fact. Stafford NOW is putting up respectable numbers because teams FEAR Moreno. Mark should have his head checked out, seriously.
But I digress. I shouldn’t be so harsh on anyone in the city of Atlanta, considering, I consider it one of the most moronic sports cities in the country. Atlanta fans need a black QB running the show in order to sell out, Georgia Tech has one of the worst traveling fan bases in the east, UGA fans couldn’t tell you who Morenos backup was if you told them they get to spend a day with ‘UGA’ for guessing correctly. I could go on, but why? The fact is, UGA is taking advantage of Florida and their rebuilding year. For Mark Bradley to call the Gators defense ferocious is comedic on every possible level, considering I haven’t met a single Gator fan who has NOT claimed this to be the worst Gator defense they have seen dawn the Orange and Blue in nearly 50 years (if not ever). Florida sports the youngest team in the country and UGA returned double what Florida did on defense. Then again, you know what? It is actually an impressive thing for these young Gators to be ranked 38 th to the Bulldogs 25 th ranking. If anything, shouldn’t you, as a UGA fan, fear this fact? UGA loses double what UF loses on defense next year, and I’d bet my last dollar that UGA hasn’t rotated in as many players as these Gators have, or even Tennessee for that assumption on my part.
Deep breath.
Deep breath, it will be ok.
Enjoy watching UGA in the Capital One Bowl, let them enjoy their year of optimism. Next year, UGA is back to that place I believe they should be regulars of, the Peach Bowl, 4 losses, and wasting away recruiting classes. Not very objective of me, but you can blame the city of Atlanta, I always do.
