Appalachian State Gear Hotter Than Watching Jenna Jameson Do Her Thing

Okay…Allow me to take this opportunity to pose a few questions to my fans out there. Before last Saturday, how many actually knew where the hell Appalachian State University was located? And be honest because I am! I thought it was located some where in Tennessee. So geography was never my strong suit! Another question, after Appy. State shocked the college football world, how many quickly hopped on eBay to get as much Appy State paraphernalia as you could get your sticky fingers on as if you were an ASU closet fan…And be honest varmints! Me, well, I waited until Sunday…Saturday, I had a shit load of peeps at the crib! I was really thinking hard about gobbling up a "MICHIGAN WHO?" t-shirt…So much so that I gave myself a brain freeze!

Nonetheless, we aren’t alone! Why this is the newest and latest trend across the country. T-Shirts to sports fans is like what the Bible is to church, (please just go with it) it gives us sports nuts a way to express ourselves without even saying a damn thing. For they’re our treasures…And for some unexplainable reasons our ball-n-chains can’t seem to get that through their fatheads! So what if we still have our 1988 Notre Dame National Championship shirts…Our 1986 Boston Red Sox world series shirts, etc. They see it as garbage…Not understanding that vintage is in! Point is, we love our shirts…They signify momentous occasions for us! Take us down memory lane! They’re like beer for God sakes…Holding meaning and value! GOSH, women just don’t understand! It’s much more then a shirt…They’re a way of life for us! Sure the novelty of it wears off, but one can never have too many…Just like, well, beers! And the novelty of waking up next to her every morning wears off too, but we still keep her around.

At any rate Mountaineer t-shirts are like hotcakes these days…Flying off the bookstores and retail stores nationwide faster then Britney Spears panties! Phone lines at the bookstore on the Appalachian State campus in Boone, N.C., have been jammed with orders for Mountaineers merchandise, with many of the calls coming from Ohio. Ohio? That's the newest trend among Ohio State fans in C-Bus, who is home to the majority of closet Mountaneers and whose latest fashion statement is in the colors of Appalachian State. Aw yes, love them Buckeyes…You crazy nuts! Taking joy in the humiliation of their bitter rival. Although I guess Michigan can take pride in the fact that they actually played them, instead of ducking them! We’ll leave that one be! Guess it’s true, the saying that is…"I’m a fan of (INSERT TEAM) and whoever is playing (INSERT RIVAL TEAM)"

Wanting to buy large numbers of Appalachian State T-shirts, did you ever think you’d see the day? Um, I can honestly answer that…That me a "no" for me. Not just me though, oh no...Let’s take a peek at a clip from "The Longest Yard", remix edition….Roll it!

Oh yeah Adam Sandler, who’s laughing now bucko! You know you’re just like the rest of us who want to dawn the Black & Gold…Move over Pittsburghians, the real Black & Gold resides in Boone, North Carolina! . While it's very popular at the moment to be a closet Mountaineer , just like everything else, it'll die down very shortly. All things have to come to an end at some point…But for now, just like everybody else seems to be doing don’t be afraid to sport the black & gold of Appy. State! Everybody wore the green & gold of George Mason in the spring of 2006 too! And certainly ASU won’t be the last time we make like we were fans of some other no name school when this sort of thing happens again! So enjoy…It’s college football at its finest hour! And oh yeah, word has it Jenna is all about the black and gold colors as well…So do it for Jenn’s sake

And for those of you who are in the market for some extra gear…Allow me to make a couple of suggestions if I may. The fashion police highly recommends the following two websites for very tasty fan gear…

www.smackapparel.com

Pay particularly close attention to the "College Football Saturday Tee Shirts"…In various colors, so match accordingly! Although is there any no truer words than that?

Vote in LastRowSports.com new Pick’em Poll in honor of football season, which asks a very difficult question and one everybody needs to put that grapes on the table and ask themselves… The all important "Beverage Battle" Some take the Coke & Pepsi Challenge…LastRowSports.com wants you to take the "Beer Challenge"! Will or Lose, no matter what, we still booze…The question is with what? Although this question does come with a warning label! "After making the difficult, monumental selection…One might feel the way Reggie Bush did and Sheldon Brown Knocked him into Tomorrow-Land!" Vote early and often…Just remember, Don’t Click & Type!
