Anthony Phillips

Anthony Phillips (Anthony Dwayne Phillips) was born on October 5, 1970 in Galveston, Texas. After going to high school at Ball (Galveston, TX), Phillips attended Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University-Kingsville and Trinity Valley Community College. Phillips made his professional debut in the NFL in 1994 with the Atlanta Falcons. He played for the Atlanta Falcons and Minnesota Vikings over the course of his 4 year career.
In 1995 Phillips season was cut short by a broken leg during a game versus the Bills. Buffalo quarterback Jim Kelly hit Phillips during an interception return, ending his season.
