Another Pointless Barry Bonds Interview

As I was flipping through the channels, the "World-Wide Leader" was interviewing Barry Bonds before his upcoming game. After being asked about his future in baseball--particularly next season--Bonds gave the excuse that he was just granted custody of his son.
Usually, this is a legitimate excuse for anyone to use in pretty much any situation. Bonds, however, should be forbidden from alluding to his kids in an interview from now on. Whenever Bonds is in a pickle, who do we see come to the rescue? His kids. Now, when Bonds has to make a decision about his future, he suddenly brings up his kids again.
Bonds was also quoted as saying, "...My son is going to be a junior, and a senior next year if I play..." What? Is Bonds implying that his son's progression in college is contingent upon his father's baseball career?
On Tuesday, May 09, 2006, Bonds' agent Jeff Borris said he had "every reason to believe Barry Bonds will be a professional baseball player in 2007....As long as there isn't a decline in his health, he'll be in a big-league uniform."
Borris added that he thought Bonds could hit 1,000 home runs if he was a D.H.
So, which will it be? It seems like Bonds isn't adverse to playing in the AL as a DH, so seeing Bonds play next year is a likely possibility. I'm fine with whatever he chooses, as long as he leaves his kids out of these situations. Mr.Bonds, a word of advice? Don't pull a Brett Favre on us, please?
