An MRI has reported that Seattle Seahawks Defensive Tackle Chuck Darby tore a Patellar Tendon in his right knee and will be out for the rest of the season.
Darby injured his leg during a Saints run in the Fourth Quarter on Sunday night.
This is a huge hit to a Defensive line that lost Marcus Tubbs to knee surgery before the season.
Per ESPN's Briefing Room:
" Scouts Take: Darby is a cog on Seattle's defensive line, but an important cog. Darby's penetrating ability, lateral range and nonstop motor are ideal for the scheme, and the Seahawks--who depend on wave defenders up front, especially at tackle--lack great depth behind him."
One more problem for the troubled Seahawks
