Another Fall

[1] Falling to the Philadelphia Eagles was expected from the New York Jets; no competitiveness and failing confidences was the reason.
The Jets couldn't win; the Eagles had more talent to use.
Chad Pennington and an average offense wasn't enough. "I felt like I could give Laveranues a chance," said Pennington, "Sheldon Brown made a really good play -- a really good play. ... It's like the way the season's going: 6 inches. He knocks it down instead of us catching it." Pennington can't throw, and he doesn't give anyone a chance.
He should be traded, Pennington can't succeed. He only threw for 130 yards, and it didn't help. "It's frustrating," Pennington said. "And believe me; it makes you sick to your stomach." He's hurting the Jets, and a quarterback change is needed.
Pennington shouldn't start, because he hasn't learned much.
"Each person is accountable," Mangini said. "Players and coaches are accountable. Everybody can do things better and everybody should be disappointed." Correct, but Pennington is the biggest problem. It starts with the quarterback, and he hasn't done much.
"Right now, I'm just numb," Pennington said. "Not a lot of answers."
First quarter, Mike Nugent kicked a field goal. The Jets lead 3-0.
Donovan McNabb passed to Kevin Curtis for a touchdown. The Eagles lead, 7-3.
Second quarter, David Akers kicked a field goal and the score was 10-3.
12:43 left, Nugent kicked a field goal and the score was 13-3.
Third quarter, Akers kicked a field goal, 13-6 score.
With 1:40 left, Akers kicked another field goal. The Eagles pulled away, 16-6.The final score was 16-9, and the Jets offense did "nothing."
It was horrible watching Pennington fail, "maybe now they'll trade him."
