Another Bill Simmons Feud

ESPN Page 2 Columnist Bill Simmons has now, according to the Big Lead, become embroiled in high-profile feud #3. Simmons has had a frosty relationship with ESPN Radio Host Colin Cowherd after Cowherd slammed his column on air, allegedly after only skimming it and not reading the whole thing. He has also exchanged unpleasantries with Red Sox Announcer Jerry Remy, after Remy went into a tirade over his sarcastic application to be president of Red Sox Nation.
Simmons' third feud is now with overexposed funnyman Dane Cook. Simmons' distaste for Cook stems from Cook's hypocrisy in wearing a Yankees hat to a Crank Yankers taping and taking a "holier than thou" attitude toward a fart despite claiming to specialize in guy humor.
Cook shot back at Simmons in an ESPN chat. He repeatedly asked the question "Who's Bill Simmons?" and also stated, "Everyone has an opinion on what is funny and what sucks. Just ask Bill Simmons, because he knows exactly who is funny, and who is not. After all, he is Bill Simmons."
What is the Odds and Sods position on such a pressing issue for the Boston Sports scene?
Bill Simmons is a legitimate Red Sox Fan. "Now I can Die in Peace" made us laugh outloud on more than one occasion in public. Despite becoming a caricature of himself at times, he still writes a generally amusing column.
Dane Cook relies on the PREMISE that if he says EVERYTHING with a CRAZY VOICE and lots of EMPHasis it will be funny. He makes bad romantic comedies. He alleges in overplayed commercial form that for some reason we should still watch the World Series, despite the fact that there hasn't been an entertaining one (with teams anyone cares about) since 2001.
Advantage: Simmons
