Another Article About Boston Sports

Surprise, surprise. There is another undefeated Boston sports team that has gotten more recognition over the offseason than it has after their 5-0 start. Yes, I am talking about the Boston Celtics, the only undefeated team left in the NBA. The NBA, along with NASCAR, doesn't get much attention here on the 'Chair, but the Celtics have had a great start to their season after signing Forward Kevin Garnett, and SG Ray Allen this offseason to help out the Celtics Forward, Paul Pierce. Although the Celtics' 1st five opponents had a combined 16-18 record, the Celtics still deserve credit for their super start. Boston has averaged 107.6 PPG, and have only been held under 100 points once (in a 98-95 defeat of the Toronto Raptors in OT on Sunday November, 4th in Toronto).
The Celtics' tremendous trifecta (Garnett, Allen, Pierce), have lead the Celtics to those 107 PPG, and are the heart and soul of Boston's undefeated team. I really think this team can play with teams like the San Antonio Spurs, and Dallas Mavericks, they have a chance at showing they can beat anyone when they face the Miami Heat on the 16th, although the Heat are 1-5, they are still a great team (if Wade, and Shaq are healthy), and they will improve as the season progresses. Instead of continually talking about the Pats, Sox, and BC Eagles (who have lost 2 straight), maybe the city of Boston should take some spotlight off of them, and praise the Celtics instead. But, I don't want them to wear out the subject, like they did to the Pats, and Sox.

Expect the Celtics to keep the pace, it may only be 5 games, but the Celtics have a great team, and if they stay healthy for at least three-fourths of the regular season they could run away with the Eastern Conference Title. The few teams who can compete with the Celtics in the Eastern Conference are the Pistons, and Magic, other than those two teams, I don't think anyone else has a chance to beat out Boston. I may be saying this too soon, but that is just my opinion based on the early start for Boston.
