Born on February 27, 1984 in Maracay, Aragua (Venezuela), Anibal Sanchez (Anibal Alejandro Sanchez) played for the Florida Marlins for his entire 1 year career. Sanchez broke into the bigs on June 25, 2006 with the Florida Marlins, and put up a 2.83 ERA in 114.1 innings pitched in 2006, his rookie year.
On September 6th, 2006, Sanchez pitched a no hitter against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
