Angelo King (Angelo Tyrone King) was born on February 10, 1958 in Columbia, South Carolina. After going to high school at Columbia (SC), King attended South Carolina State University. King made his professional debut in the NFL in 1981 with the Dallas Cowboys. He played for the Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys over the course of his 7 year career.

Most people believe that 1985 was Angelo King's best year.
