Angelo Encarnacion (Angelo Benjamin Encarnacion) was born on April 18, 1969 in Santo Domingo, Distrito Nacional (Dominican Republic). He made his Major League debut on May 2, 1995 for the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 1995, his rookie year, he hit .226 with 2 home runs and 10 RBI. Encarnacion played for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Anaheim Angels over the course of his 3 year career.
