Angel Salazar (Argenis Antonio (Yepez) Salazar) was born on November 4, 1961 in Anaco, Anzoategui (Venezuela). He made his Major League debut on August 10, 1983 for the Montreal Expos. In 1984, his rookie year, he hit .155 with 0 home runs and 12 RBI. Salazar played for the Montreal Expos, Kansas City Royals and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 5 year career.
