Andy Stynchula (Andrew Ralph Stynchula) was born on January 7, 1939 in Greenwald, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Latrobe (PA), Stynchula attended Pennsylvania State University. Stynchula made his professional debut in the NFL in 1960 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins, Baltimore Colts, New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys over the course of his 9 year career.

Most people believe that 1964 was Andy Stynchula's best year, as he recovered 4 opponents fumbles.
