Andy Spiva (Howard Andrew Spiva) was born on February 6, 1955 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. After going to high school at Chamblee (GA), Spiva attended the University of Tennessee. Spiva made his professional debut in the NFL in 1977 with the Atlanta Falcons. He played for the Atlanta Falcons for his entire 1 year career.
