Andy Phillips (George Andrew Phillips) was born on April 6, 1977 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He made his Major League debut on September 14, 2004 for the New York Yankees. In 2006, his rookie year, he hit .240 with 7 home runs and 29 RBI. Phillips played for the New York Yankees for his entire 3 year career.
