Andy Hopkins (Andrew Pochae Hopkins) was born on October 19, 1949 in Crockett, Texas. After going to high school at Ralph J. Bunche (Crockett, TX), Hopkins attended Stephen F. Austin State University. Hopkins made his professional debut in the NFL in 1971 with the Houston Oilers. He played for the Houston Oilers for his entire 1 year career.
