Andy Hendel (Andrew Carey Hendel) was born on March 4, 1961 in Rochester, New York. After going to high school at Irondequoit (NY), Hendel attended North Carolina State University. Hendel made his professional debut in the NFL in 1986 with the Miami Dolphins. He played for the Miami Dolphins for his entire 1 year career.
