Andy Headen (Andrew Roosevelt Headen) was born on July 8, 1960 in Asheboro, North Carolina. After going to high school at Eastern Randolph (Asheboro, NC), Headen attended Clemson University. Headen made his professional debut in the NFL in 1983 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants for his entire 6 year career.
Most people believe that 1985 was Andy Headen's best year, as he recorded 5.5 sacks.
