Andy Gissinger (Andrew Gissinger, III) was born on July 4, 1959 in Barberton, Ohio. After going to high school at Valley Forge (Parma, OH), Gissinger attended Syracuse University. Gissinger made his professional debut in the NFL in 1982 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the San Diego Chargers for his entire 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1984 was Andy Gissinger's best year.
