Andy Dorris (Andrew Michael Dorris) was born on August 11, 1951 in Bellaire, Ohio. After going to high school at Bellaire (OH), Dorris attended New Mexico State University. Dorris made his professional debut in the NFL in 1973 with the St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the Houston Oilers, New Orleans Saints, St. Louis Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks over the course of his 9 year career.

Most people believe that 1974 was Andy Dorris's best year.
